The Stages of Ideation triptych explores the processes of transforming ideas into visual language structures, questioning how these structures “live” in our mind. This series utilizes systems of the body to serve as metaphors for the stages idea development into visual form from conception to formulation to consumption.
Through our sensory faculties we experience the world. In the visual sense; we ingest the attributes of an object—we then combine these attributes (based on our conventions) and assign secondary language structures—finally, the object and the idea (or assigned descriptive structure of) exists simultaneously.
