Skateboarding is a creative and improvisational activity. The Molotov Cocktail Party Set is based on the general belief that skateboarding goes beyond standing on a board with wheels, involving every activity surrounding it. The improvisational qualities a Molotov Cocktail as a weapon that combines three items (rag, bottle, petrol) that would normally serve separate purposes, when brought together, become a powerful object establish a perfect metaphor for the activities ingredients that support the general beliefs of the skating community.
Everything a skater would need to repair a skate spot is included in the set: a hacksaw, gulf wax, resin compound kit, a vhs, a roll of tape, 2 cans of spray paint, stencils and stickers, a belt, and a street sign which also wraps the package. In skateboarding, legitimacy is the most crucial element in order for any product to be successful. There is no room for pretense for an audience weary of corporate infiltration.
