Airiel, a well known Chicago-based band that combines layered guitar rhythms 
and harmonics to create lush and complex soundscapes, commissioned this work after viewing my piece entitled Morte/Moiré. While the appropriation of the visual style created in the conceptual and theoretical result of Morte/Moiré, seemed, at first a stretch, the style and concept fit perfectly with Airiel’s direction.
